Leo’s added another podcast to his TWiT ensemble. This time it’s Windows Weekly. A weekly look at all things Microsoft including Windows Vista, Office 2007, and Xbox from the foremost Windows expert in the world, Paul Thurrott of the Super Site for Windows. Vista security
Anyone thinking of installing the long-awaited Windows Vista might want to visit Steve Lamb’s blog. Steve points to a Microsoft page that lists Vista step-by-step deployment guides to make the most of the management and security features. Not for me thanks. Hey Hey 16k
Talking of b3ta.com (again, you really shouldn’t view their stuff at work) here’s an animation that I found funny (which is safe viewing by the way). If you’re over a certain age and you remember Manic Miner & Jet Set Willy and RAMpacks & Tape Loading Errors you’ll probably find it funny too.

Your Hosts file
Back in February, I blogged about editing your Hosts file. The reason I used for doing this was to use your Hosts file to make it easier to log on to your networking hardware (router, modem, WAP, etc.). Steve and Leo from Security Now podcast discuss the Hosts file in much greater detail in Episode [...]
At last – free hotel wi-fi
I’ve just checked into the Golden Tulip in Manchester. At last, free wi-fi – buckshee, gratis, nowt, nada. OK, so it’s not the cheepest hotel in the world, however, that’s more of a concern for my employers than it is for me as they booked me in here. The only downside … I can see [...]
