Is Google Base an eBay killer?

Wow! I’ve just stumbled across Google Base (base.google.com and base.google.co.uk). I haven’t done a full review yet, however, at first glance it looks like you can list practically any item for sale then collect payment via Google Checkout (checkout.google.com and checkout.google.co.uk). Unlike eBay it’s free to list an item on Google Base.

It’s currently in Beta – loads more info via links above.

At the time of this post there are 189,742 cars for sale on base.google.co.uk!

You can also generate RSS feeds based on search criteria and even dynamically import these into Google Spreadsheets, as described by S Anand who goes on to explain how to import any rss feed, using top 250 movies from the IMDb Top 250 as a great example.

All very cool IMO. Now, what feeds can I dynamically import into Google Spreadsheets?
