I was hoping that the release date for Leopard was going to be announced at Macworld but sadly it wasn’t. It’s still scheduled for ‘Spring 07′.
One of the features I’m most interested in seeing is Time Machine, Apple’s approach to backup.
We all know we should backup and thankfully, on occasion, my backups have saved me from losing data. However, of the many approaches I’ve adopted over the years to backing up my non-work data, I’ve yet to decide which approach is best for my setup (currently circa. 400GB of data across 3 Macs and one PC).
Apple has shown great innovation with the recently announced iPhone. I’m really interested to see how they approach backup. Will it just be a regurgitation of existing methods or will it be a fresh approach? I really hope it’s the later.
